Medical aid offering by discovery for iVPD members

We have identified a significant gap in access to private healthcare for employees, especially those with lower income levels who cannot afford traditional medical scheme membership.
 
Discovery has introduced FlexiCare to make quality private healthcare more accessible and affordable for employees who might otherwise be excluded from medical scheme membership, supporting both employers and employees with a practical, cost-effective solution.
 
Below is the quote with a description of the benefits provided. 
The IVPD has been able to get preferential rates, where Discovery will hold the 2025 premium until 31 Dec 2026, if we join from 1 Dec 2025.
Premiums start at R428 pm for each employee.
 
If we join from 1 Jan 2026, the new 2026 rates will apply. Premiums start at R458 pm for each employee
 
The employees can have family members join at an additional cost.
 
FlexiCare is ideally suited for employees with a salary under R16 000pm and/or for those who are not on a medical aid.
